Literature Text

I showed you to her,
You were able to see
Just how lovely she
Was in person.

I should have glanced
Away, hid her from you.
Why did I have to run
Up when I saw them?
Maybe I just wanted
You to be happy.

She's more beautiful
Than I could be.
She'll probably know
And Understand more.
That lovely girl may even
Praise you more than I.

I enjoy your smile.
Your praise makes me
Feel like I'm somehow
Something special.
A reason to keep moving,
To let my stories flow from
The pen and splay innuendos.

But you want her.
I know you do.
I bet you want to talk
With her more. You
Already want her here.
But...what about me?

She is better than I am.
I'll be replaced.
Put on a shelf to only
Accumulate dust.

I hate her. She stole you.

I love you.

But....you love her.
.........

Poem.

it was a very good poem though <3
perfectly captures that inferior feeling people get when their crush (perhaps a friend gone crush) suddenly likes someone else.
